Peace of mind for the forgetful..... - I purchased this iron from amazon back in June 2006.The basics of why I think this iron is a great product are:-1) the autoshut off feature - no more panicking after having left the house as to whether you ve left the iron on!2) the light indicator which indicates when the iron is switched on, or on autoshut off3) good water capacity4) Longer-than-usual lead length 5) Last but not least, performance in terms of getting creases out of clothes is superb.It is a well-designed, non-stress inducing appliance. When my current iron breaks down due to old age I won t bother investigating other irons for purchase - I ll be buying another of these assuming still available. Normally after using an appliance for a number of years, I fancy a change, so I can think of no better compliment to pay this product.
fab iron - Excellent service, well packaged, thanks amazon! Iron arrived today and is great, not a keen ironer but this should make light work of it! Smooth to use, nice blue light, good protective cover and very long cord for easy gliding, definalty reccomeend at this value price!
Fantastico! - Having just returned from a family holiday I had 6 loads of washing to iron so to make the job a little more bearable I treated myself to a new iron. Why did I not buy this sooner?? It s sleek, has a long cord, I love the blue light and it is effortless. I ve never enjoyed ironing so much. I used to dread doing shirts before but with this, they re a breeze. Buy it, it s fantastic.
Rolls Royce of Irons - This is the Rolls Royce of Irons or should I say the Ferrari with it s sleek black body and powerful action. I have never enjoyed ironing so much before, now my clothes look super ironed. The heat resistant footplate is a really neat addition.
Next best thing to a steam generator iron - The best kind of iron is one with a steam generator unit. However, they are bulky and I don t have the space, and this is the next best thing. Excellent performance for a simple steam iron, and auto-shut off is very handy. It looks great too.
